The Short Boy with the Tall Hair

Hyperboles, nicknames and praise - Little Richard deserved all of it. He was a true force whose energy and vivaciousness exploded every time he performed. He influenced the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, James Brown, and countless others. I'm grateful to have spent so much time with him across the various stations I worked at throughout my career. He's even responsible for the Barry Richards Theme Song!

From "Tutti Frutti" to "Long Tall Sally" to "Good Golly, Miss Molly", it's impossible to sum up his musical prowess and characters into words. Luckily, we don't have to - we have his music, interviews, pictures and videos to remember him by. Enjoy a few of my memories with him below!
